PDAs.. Positively Definitely Awesome OR Pretty Darn Annoying?
We've had some roadblocks but also many successes this year in using Palms in 5th grade. What do you think? Should we definitely continue to provide handhelds for you to use in school or would you learn more with a different tool? What do you like or not like about Palms? Support your opinions with examples of what you have experienced this year in school.

I think they are OK. But there is some mishaps though.But all technology has problems!So I don't care.There alright.
I think we should stop with the palms, because if we take them home with alot of homework,they somtimes die on us!!!Then there is when you soft or hard reset you allways lose something. So as I said stop with the palms! Stop with the palms!
I love Palms they are so amazing They save us from writing much. I wonder if we have them in. I don't know what'll do without palms.
I think that we should keep pamls so that ether kids can have a chance to use them.They are very fun. But they can break very easy.
Palms are pretty cool but they're stubborn. They are so hard to write on except for the fact that you can use a wireless keyboard. They sometimes don't beam or hot sync.

pretty darn awesome I think they are good and very cool but there has ben lots of problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big problems.
A palm is pritty darn dandy you don't have to use the paper that gets wet and you can't read anything. There might be some problems with palms alot. But it sure beets old paper and pencil.
I love palms even though they lead to many problems. We should keep using them even though the problems we encountered. There is a lot of problems with them like when the freeze and won't beam. That is the one thing I do not like about them.
I really don't know which one we should go with. The palms do get annoying when you have to use the online keyboard. You can check out a keyboard but there isn't enough for everybody to get one. But atleast we have something!!! I we could have a differnt tool I would recamand a laptop!The laptops will have problems on them too. With not connecting to the inernet and such. My opinion is that someone else choose between which to keep or to get a different tool. I don't want to make anyone mad!!!!

I think palms are so terrific because they save so much time. Just that I think that they are so awsome. So thank you Mrs. Morrow for letting us use "PDA's."
I think we sould keep palms. I think all the proplms is people droping their palms is why we are having these mishaps. So it maters.
PALMS are awesome, but there are some bad things about them. Like sometimes they won't neam or recieve beams. And if anyonw would know, it would be me!!! Why you ask, it's because my palm is busted. It won't beam or recieve beams. And it's not very fun because I don't get a spare PALM. The reason is that all of the spare ones are being used by someone else!!! I totally think we should keep using them, but make sure you have some extra PALMS. I love them, but then again I hate them. It's a hard choice, but I still think they are great!!!!!
I like the palms. I think there a great way to teach. 1 there fun to use. And 2 your learning more about tecnolig. The palms have never faled on me. And we should give them another chance.
I think that palms can be good to learn about... but they are so anoying. Like they dont turn on or dont turn off, they dont like to beam or reaceve beams and that bugs me. So I dont think I'm alone here please speak out and say no to palms!
Palms are awesome but sometimes you want too take a jackhammer too them. When they work they do amzing things but when the don't .....lets just say set it down and come back later. They don't send or receive messages sometimes and let me tell you...it sucks!! It's awesome too have palms around but sometimes don't mess with it. I don't know if i like or dislike palms, but all I know is when they work it's like a coco on a below zero night.

Well im glad i haven't. If u have mested with a palm before you probely have relized that they can be a pain sometime. Once it wouldn't go to where i tapped!
Plus once it didn't even put the right letter in wheni did. Say I put in an O and it made a D! So thats how palms can be a pain! But we are still glad we have palm, sometimes.
I like using palms for t.he most part. A few things I don't like about palms. I don't like that the Scketchy is so hard to use. The numper one thing that sketchy does that anoys me is when you're typing and you take your cursor off and I can never get my cursor in the right spot.
Anouther thing I don't like about palms is when they won't Hot Sync, beam, or recive beams.
I like that they're usally fast and that you can have a lot of documents.
I don't know of any outher tool I would use.

palms are very bad. they sometimes have problems and have to restart them. then you lose all of your work. they run out of batterie and I bet the school paid alot for them!
I like palms but they do go bad once you have had it for a wile. I think we should use laptops thay have prbloms to like don't connect to internet and freez on you but i still think we should use both thats what I think.
I love palms well kinda anyway but I mean they worked for most people for the first few months but then fire struck! A lot of the palms were ruined so those people had to get an M-130. So then they were O.K. But now my palm is ruined and there are no M-130s left. So what am I to do well I'll tell you what I have to do I have to do everything on paper! Aaaaahhhh! But I hope it goes to Michigan. But for all you out there I hope that your palms will always work for you. Well, thank-you and good-night.
Palms are really cool except, they can be pretty darn annoying. They are cool because they have awesome apps. They are annoying because well, their technology! Tecnology is always annoying!
Darn it! I'm not really intrested in using palms.I'd rather use laptops most of the time. Last night I was doing my sketchy it had 50 slides on it, I had to reset it and all 50 slides were deleted! I was really wishing it was a computer then. Also you always get in trouble for 1 little accident. Like when Dan was here my palm fell no help from me. Dan picked it up and gave it to me and that was almost a doggome palm strike. Elizabeth on strike!!!!!(From palms forever!)
Oh my! That question is so easy. Leave them alown. Lots of fifth graders including my self have had to use m130s instead of our regulare palms because there has been so many problems. So just leave next year with a pen and paper.
I do think palms are cool but thay can be a pain like thay can have troble beming badery gets low and more.But anyway thay can do really cool things like games and more.
There is a lot of things that are cool but also pretty darn annoying. Like if they won't beam or receive beams,and if the programs won't work that gets to bug me. somethings that are good about the palms,though, is that we don't have to use plain old paper and pencil,even though it might go a lot faster. I'm really in between on weither to get rid of the palms, or to keep them.

I think there O.K but I'd rather do more writting assignments because there kind of annoying when they do'nt work. So what do you think? Do you like them?
Pretty darn annoying i'd say! I was teamed up with two girls and a boy and those two girls were doing everyting and i got to do nothing exept for the last day! the teacher told them to get off and we were gonna add a part and they got really sad and pouted and we did nothing so we told them about how the part we made did not get saved and one got snotty with a teacher so i wish we never have to do it again unless we are with friends or someone who we can get along with. I recconmend if you make a psa be aggresive about yourself getting to do somthing so you dont get left out.
